Purpose of this policy
This policy says what Rushlot may not be used for. It is part of the terms of service and applies to everyone who uses the website, the app or a Rushlot account. Rushlot sends footage to real marketplace accounts, under real contributor agreements: a misuse can cost you your account there, and harm other Rushlot users with it.
What you may not do with Rushlot
- Footage you have no right to. Send only clips you made or hold the rights to license, with the releases they need. No footage that is unlawful, that infringes someone’s rights or privacy, or that sexualises minors.
- Getting around a marketplace’s rules. No duplicate or near-duplicate uploads, no re-sending a clip to dodge a marketplace’s review, no labelling a clip editorial or commercial to avoid a release it needs, no misleading or spam keywords, no hiding how the footage was made where a marketplace asks.
- Accounts that are not yours. Use Rushlot only with marketplace accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to manage, and never to impersonate someone.
- Abusing the service. No sharing an account, no several accounts to get more free clips, no reselling Rushlot or running it as a paid service for others without our written agreement, no getting around plan limits or clip counting.
- Taking the drafting apart. No reverse engineering of the app or of the drafting service beyond what the law allows, no calling the drafting service other than through the app, no automated or bulk extraction of its output, and no using it to build or train a competing product.
- Attacking the service. No attempt to break its security, overload it, probe it for weaknesses or reach data that is not yours.
Marketplace-specific rules
Each marketplace’s contributor agreement and guidelines decide what you may send it, and they come before anything Rushlot suggests. Rushlot’s checks follow what each marketplace publishes, but they do not replace its rules or its review.
When Rushlot holds a send because a marketplace changed or it is not safe to send, do not work around it: wait, or upload by hand on the marketplace’s own site.
Consequences of a violation
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:
- warn you and ask you to stop;
- hold your sends, or suspend your account, while the problem lasts;
- end your contract, as Section 13 of the terms provides;
- hand information to an authority, where the law requires it.
We tell you what we are doing and why, unless the law forbids it. Nothing here limits the steps a marketplace may take on its own account.
