Thomas B.
Builds Rushlot
Thomas grew up travelling and filming with his father, Hervé, who shoots underwater footage. They started selling that footage on Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Pond5 and Getty Images, and Thomas, the geek of the family, wrote the automation that made the tedious part bearable.
That tool is Rushlot. He writes here about the technical side of stock video: metadata and keywords, embedded XMP, file specs, upload transports (SFTP, FTPS, Getty’s ESP), upload errors, and how the tools compare. When a number is in one of his articles, it was read off a live contributor account or a marketplace’s own page, and the article says which.
More about the two of us on the About page.
